About Andrea Wheaton
Andrea is a passionate endurance runner, dedicated to the joy of movement and the pursuit of personal excellence. Balancing her life as a wife and working mom of 3 young boys, she finds joy in running, strength training, and all things health and nutrition.
Andrea began running in her 20s, completing 7 half marathons, but really committed to the sport after becoming a mother. In 2023, she completed her first marathon in Vancouver. Just 15 weeks later, Andrea achieved a 14-minute PR in her second marathon, earning her a place in the 2024 Boston Marathon and 2024 Chicago Marathon. She has her sights set on conquering all 6 World Marathon Majors.
In Spring 2024, Andrea launched Sweat Scene Society, a running and workout club she co-founded with two fitness trainers. With over 200 members, the club fosters community, fitness, and a shared love for movement.
Self-taught and driven by a deep interest (read: obsession) in endurance running, Andrea draws inspiration from her mother, a 50-time marathoner. She strives to be an example for her children, showing them how to dream big and live a life filled with movement. She is dedicated to sharing her love for the sport and encouraging others to find their best path to movement and wellness.

Why do we have such a high concentration of electrolytes in our blend?
On average, athletes will produce somewhere between 1 to 4 liters of sweat per hour and lose between 500mg and 1300mg of sodium per liter in that sweat with the median being 900mg of sodium — which is why Insaltd has 900mg of sodium.
